Fee Subsidies

Financial assistance with fees is available through the Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR), both available from the Family Assistance Office (FAO).

You are eligible for Child Care Benefit if you are a parent, foster parent or grandparent with a child in your care who is attending child care services approved by, or registered with, the Government. CCB is paid directly to the centre to reduce your daily fees or may be applied for as a lump sum at the end of the financial year.

Please note: If you choose the Reduced Fee option we are not permitted to reduce your fee until we have received written notification about your registration directly from the FAO. However, we are allowed to back-date your CCB fee subsidy for up to three weeks, and therefore please ensure that you apply to the FAO as soon as possible after confirming the enrolment of your child.

• you have a child in your care who meets the immunisation requirements (or have an exemption)
• you meet residency requirements (or have an exemption)
• your child attends approved or registered care and you have the liability to pay for the cost of your child care
• you meet the income test

Child Care Rebate (CCR)

The Child Care Rebate helps working families with the cost of child care. The Child Care Rebate covers 50 per cent of out-of-pocket child care expenses for approved child care, with a rebate of up to $7,778 (indexed) per child per year, for eligible families.

• used approved child care during the year;
• been eligible for Child Care Benefit (entitled at a rate of zero or more)*;
• passed the Child Care Benefit work, training, study test (for the purposes of the rebate).

Note: There is no income test for the Child Care Rebate. If you are eligible for Child Care Benefit, but your Child Care Benefit entitlement is zero due to income, you are still eligible for the Child Care Rebate.

Fees

Enrolment Fee
A one off $60 enrolment fee is payable per family at the commencement of care. This fee is non-refundable.

Bond
Two weeks full fees per child are payable at the commencement of care. In the event that fees are paid up to date at the cancellation of care, this bond is refundable.

Commencement Fee
Two weeks fees in advance, as well as current week's fees

 Daily Fees

• Nursery (0-2years) - $112 per day
• Toddler (2-3 Years) - $103 per day
• Preschool (3-6 Years) - $97 per day
